Feel-Good Part

When it comes to achievements, Hiyori’s character carried the whole show. Her character showed pure innocence that made the viewers feel calm and relaxed. All the characters worked well together. The rest of the characters have all the elements required to run the show, out of which Hiyori was the best.

The Disappointing Part

Compared to the rest of the show, the last three episodes are the most disappointing ones. The ending was not satisfactory. Moreover, there were several figures of speech used in the morally wrong scripts, yet the characters had normal reactions to them.

In-Depth Analysis

Hiyori is a boyish, humble girl that moves to the city to pursue her goal which is track, and field. Two of her classmates belonged to a very trendy idol group called LIPxLIP. The agency announced recruitment for a manager in training for the group. She does not have much interest in idols, but she needed money, so she applied for it. She was selected for the job, where she had to supervise the idols as their classmate. And so, it shows her tiresome journey, fun but frustrating at times. She also gained many new experiences, including friendships.

Star Power

The most considerable star power shown by the series is the reference to the 2020 project film Kono Sekai no Tanoshimikata: Secret Story Film, which features LIP×LIP’s Yujiro Someya (VA Koki Uchiyama) and Aizo Shibasaki (VA Nobunaga Shimazaki). It was made to commemorate HoneyWorks’ 10th Anniversary. The staff members like producer Shunsuke Saito, scriptwriter-cum-series composer Yoshimi Narita and music composer Moe Hyuuga were behind this. It showed relations with the origins of the show.

Overall Opinion

Overall, it’s a relaxing show that does not need a significant investment. It will show you the hard life of an idol and how they overcome hurdles, along with Hiyori’s tiresome life story.
