Drama digest:

It is a story about a regular man named Reiji Kiro, a minimum wage earner. One fine day, he wakes up in a different world, where he starts running a pharmacy of magical drugs.

 The feel-good factor:

The animation is decent. The character stories are well-written. The interactions of the characters are also satisfactory. The purpose of the medicines he makes is well-thought-of.

The disappointing factor:

Even though the character design in the story is decent, there are a lot of faults in the story. First of all, Reiji becomes a pharmacist magically, but even after acquiring magical skills, he is an amateur at what he does. During many scenes, he just randomly mixes certain potions together to form a particular medicine which turns out to be the exact thing the customer wants. This is disappointing to look at and gets boring after a certain point. Moreover, the two assistants he hires are mostly quiet and they seem like strangers even after working together for a long time.

In-depth analysis:

Reiji Kiro, the lead of the series is a corporate daily-wage earner. He’s tired of the same life he has to live due to his regular job. His daily bore-some life leads to him craving an exciting life which also helps him make a lot of money. One day, when he wakes up from his sleep, he finds himself being transported to a whole new world. The world he’s never seen before and the one he’s not familiar with. As he wakes up, he finds himself woken up with this sudden gain of pharmaceutical skills. Over time, he takes advantage of these skills and opens up a drug store in the new world. With his newfound talent for making magical medicines, he helps many customers by making drugs specifically to alleviate their problems. There are a lot of different types of customers he receives. There are weirdos, noblemen, perverts, pretty women, etc. Later, he hires two new assistants for himself to work with.

Star power:

There are a lot of characters on the show and many of them have fun-loving and charming personalities while some of them also have dull personalities. So, it is hard to highlight a specific star on the show.

Overall opinion:

The show is a regular entertainment show. But, even after gaining a unique superpower, the show’s protagonist handles it immaturely, which is annoying to watch. Anyone who wants simple entertainment without any thrill or suspense can go for the show.
