In-Depth Analysis

Under the co-production of Mystic Story and SK Telecom Flo, the show is one of the many reality shows that celebrates and explores music as an art. Choosing a studio, a place of several playlists getting recorded, adds a gesture of nostalgia, making the guests openly reminisce about their past days. No wonder hint of familiarization glimmers as the guests talk about their songs. To them, this place transcends music from the entertainment factor to the analytical aspect and backstories that made it notable. The whole aura of the studio goes with the theme and makes it mesmerizing. In addition, the talented house band levels up the beauty of it with their rhythmic skills in different instruments. Spellbinding voice makes the studio lively as the band flows in sync with the artists’ performances.

It captures the friendly teasing and bickering, which brings them closer and creates an atmosphere of comfortability for the guests. The hosts were splendid in keeping the conversations playful and not pressurizing or interview-like. The endless teasing of Soon-tak continued till the end of the season. Hee Chul’s personality of relieving the artists of tension and offering friendly gestures is evident from the sow. Eana’s talented nature in guiding the conversations and encouraging the flow made the show compelling to watch. The criticisms of music highlighted by Soon-tak are an impressive addition in setting the direction of their discussions. The hosts marvellously posited their skills and structured the show in a lighthearted but critical purview. Undoubtedly the guests were the show’s spotlight. Lucid Fall’s simple but astute presence resonates with his songs. His lyrics of consolation have soothed most hearts since long before and continue to have an evergreen existence in the musical domain. His episode of the dad joke competition with Hee Chul follows the once renowned 2NE1 band’s member Park Bom. Her nervousness couldn’t set aside the enthralling demeanour of spring. She sang some of her hit songs and shared her thoughts on the band and her solo comeback. Such episodes of stories and songs follow the rest of the show, with different artists spreading various auras with their unique personalities and music. It isn’t a surprise that the making of season 2 proves the success of the first season and its connection with the viewers.
