The show about emotional healing and finding love is back for its second season. Let’s fall in love consists of several single men and women who have a week-long getaway to get to know each other. Each person has a unique personality, and they must work around that to give each other a chance of love and an opportunity to heal emotionally. As a result, they grow as people, create friendships and find love. The singles are in a different setting this season than in season 1. This time around, they all live together in a house and have opportunities to become friends or find a romantic connection between themselves. What will the cast of singles go through this time around? Will they find love? Will the change in setting determine how much the characters change and differ from the previous season? The Feel-Good Part
What made the show so great was that the show focused less on the couples ending up together but more on the participants’ personalities. They are never shown as 2-dimensional characters and have fully fleshed out characteristics, personalities, and preferences. It makes it exciting and makes us want to root for them even more. Because of this added layer of character and development, we root for these individuals and whether they find love or not. The show doesn’t look at finding love as the final stage in these individuals’ lives but rather as a step into their healing process from their pasts.
The Disappointing Factor
The downside of this show is the downgrade in the setting. This time, the contestants are placed in a house rather than on a cruise ship like the previous season. The downgrade could be due to CoVid-19 lockdown restrictions. It gives the show more of a grounded rather than a lavish feel and may impact how you look at the show. The participants are still in a luxurious location, but this time around, it feels different without the ship. Another disappointment from this show is not knowing what happens after the show ends. When it comes to dating on reality TV shows, there’s a significant question of what happens to these couples outside of the show, and more often than not, it’s not great. Either they break up or don’t truly get together. The drama is endless. Either way, it is very intriguing, but if you wish to know what happens after this show is not for you.
In-Depth Analysis
Does the change of location affect the show a lot? Depends on the viewers. Some wish to carry on the lavish nature of the previous season, and some want to see the romance blossom. What differentiates let’s fall in love from other shows is the growth each person has. It is beautiful and does not disappoint. There is a chance for these characters to expand as people, which makes it so attractive.

The show has six main hosts; Annie Yi, Huang Sheng Yi, Zhu Zheng Ting, Aria Jin, Flora Dai, and Zheng Shuang. Aria Jin has starred in many dramas, movies, and TV shows, such as My Honey, Youth and Melody, I Am the Actor Season 3, Happy Camp, and much more. Flora Dai is a member of the girl group YEP GIRLS and has starred in a wide range of dramas, movies, and TV shows such as Love Actually, Term of Validity for Love, Super Hit Season 1, Hao Chi De Shao Nu, and much more. Overall Opinion
The change of scenario is a bit underwhelming, but other than that, it offers a more rounded and better chance to get to know each other. This season is fun but does not compare to the original season.
