Movie Digest

Track athlete Do-won decides to shift schools after suffering an injury. When he enrols at his new school, he runs across Jin-su, an old acquaintance who has changed so much that he and Do-won are now in danger.

The Feel-Good Part

When confronted with a hazy feeling of loss, liberation and solidarity lag. Not everyone can cherish and look back on their carefree and innocent youth. There are people worldwide who follow in the footprints of the fictional character Jin Soo. We may not notice it happening in our day-to-day activities. The movie exudes the atmosphere of a true story.

The Disappointing Factor

The movie’s absence of English subtitles and its distribution and translation into another language make it the only disappointing aspect. For those who prefer short films or lighthearted stories, it could also be a long movie.

In-Depth Analysis

Do-won, a promising runner, goes to meet Jin-su, his childhood best buddy, after getting hurt in an accident. Do-won was caught up in an unforeseen event during that fleetingly happy time of being united with Jin-su, who seemed changed from their idealised past. Is it still possible for us to emerge from this downward spiral and confront the future, where we had the same dream?

Star Power

The radiant Jang Dong-Yoon made an impression on everyone. The focus of the film is how Seo Byuk Joon’s presence both disturbs and comforts Jang Dong-character. Yoon’s You shouldn’t let the performers’ ages influence your decision to avoid them. Han Yi Jin portrays a rough, juvenile delinquent appearance. In this independent film with a small budget, every actor does a fantastic job.

Overall Opinion

Oh Won-Jae, a relatively rookie director, did a good job blending captivating background music with the desolate, icy setting of the countryside. A film that brings back memories of your time in school, one that casts a broad eye on the gloom of wayward youth. If you give something a shot, you just might find something you like.
