Movie Digest

Kyeong Mi is hearing impaired, and works as a sign language counselor in a call center. One night she witnesses a brutal stabbing by a serial killer Dosik. To avoid being caught by the cops, Dosik targets her next. Thus, begins the cat and mouse game, and it goes on through the night. Does Kyeong Mi survive or become his next victim, is the movie’s theme.

The Feel-Good Part

Brilliant performances, taut editing, and sound effect make the movie a good watch.

The Disappointing Factor

The storyline is done and dusted several times, and there is nothing new to offer in terms of content.

In-Depth Analysis

Kyeong Mi is a young, hard of hearing woman, who works in a call center as a sign language counselor. She has a mother and brother who love her to bits. In the night, as she picks her mother up, she witnesses a brutal stabbing of a young woman by the serial killer Dosik.

Dosik has been terrorizing the streets owing to his murderous rampage, and his next victim is Kyeong Mi. Her mother and brother do their best to protect her, but then the game of wits is played out between Kyeong Mi and Dosik.

Since Mi is hearing impaired, a good part of the movie is in silence, which adds to the mystery.

Star Power

Mi is beautifully played by Jin Ki Joo, while Dosik is played by Wi-Ha-Joon, famous for his character in the Squid Game.

Overall Opinion

If you are for thrills, then this movie is for you.
