“Insa” is a comic action story about Tae-soo, who lives with his grandfather in a remote island. He is obsessed with Kung-Fu and his grandfather trains him. One day his uncle, Ik-seong visits them and decides to take Tae-soo to Seoul with him. He starts going to school there. He makes friends for the first time and leads a happy school life and deals with the school bully with his Kung-Fu.

The Feel Good Part

This movie has just the right amount humor along with action. The scene where he fights with the school bullies with an umbrella is very satisfying.

The Disappointing Factor

Despite being an action movie, the action scenes are very poorly made. The acting is also a bit clumsy.

In-Depth Analysis

In Seoul a person is called “Insa” that is an insider when they get along with people and is part of a group. While adjusting to his new school and friends he fights off the bad guys who bully his friend with his Kung-Fu skills. Tae-soo is a Kung-Fu obsessed teenager who lives with his grandfather on a remote island. His grandfather trains him. One day, his uncle Ik-seong visits them and decides to take him to Seoul with him. Tae-soo is looking forward to meet new friends so he goes with his uncle. Eun-Jung is his uncle’s daughter who acts cold towards and tells him to act like they don’t know each other at school. Despite being cold she helps Tae-soo when he fights against Min-Hyuk, the bully.

Star Power

Kim Dong Hyun did a good job and as for the other actors, overall the acting was not very impressive but it is ok.

Overall Opinion

Overall, the movie is average. The humor is good and if you are looking for a really good action film this is not it. Its action scenes are good but not great.
