Chang Min is a simple house-husband with a small family who always has to hear his wife’s nagging about his lack of financial help. To prove his wife wrong, he decides on a unique business idea that creates many unexpected situations. Chang Min started a husband rental service with his long-term friend that allows women to experience married life before settling down. Due to his charming looks and house handling skills, he becomes the ideal husband that every woman wishes to love. Chang Min also changes his personality into the customer’s perfect husband type so they can get more successful results. The business booms rapidly in time as he helps his customers through difficult times. But his wife suddenly seems to notice the changes and doubts that he is cheating on her, which creates a messed-up act.
The Feel-Good Part
A hopeless husband tries hard to make his wife happy by doing the only thing he is capable of doing. It consists of a mixture of dramatic plots and absurd comedy that keeps the audience entertained. The movie got based on a simple yet ridiculous storyline that might be a unique twist to catch the audience’s eyes. The acting of the actors performing in this movie is over the top at times, but it suits well with the plotlines and dialogues. Even the child actor did great with his believable acting and cute innocence. The writing around this movie is not that special, but the deliverance changed into a better product. It is chaotic and messy sometimes, but it also fulfills the emotional aspect.

It showcases marital issues and financial troubles that affect the daily life of Korean citizens. It also captures the criticisms against people working in a gender-specific profession or maintaining a gender-specific role that got decided by the patriarchal society.

It is a decent movie for the audience interested in an uplifting, fun yet silly watch. Even though the melodrama around this movie is dull, the comical part is hilarious. It can be a pass time watch that helps lighten the viewer’s mood.
