Oh Se-hun (Liang Qu) is a stylish, confident, and cold but charming half human-half cat because of a magic spell, and he can heal/melt broken hearts. He lives with Janice Wu (Miao Xiao Wan), an honest and confident woman who has created an app that translates Cat’s sounds and language.
The Feel Good Part
It is a romantic movie, the romance between two consenting competent adults with their own lives, dreams, and abilities. Depicting both longing, pain, a lot of fluffy humor, and the struggles in understanding others. It is not dull and will make you feel various emotions, mostly fluff. It is a sweet rom-com with classic love over time.
The Disappointing Factor
The storyline of the movie was a bit predictable, and childish. The emotions were not very intense and Sehun’s fans would be disappointed to know that they had used a dubber for Sehun; it was not his real voice. Wei Long’s character was not his natural typical character; it somewhat lacked his usual charm.

Liang Qu is a stylish, confident, cold but charming half-cat, half-human. He became a Catman when a Catman older than him, accidentally bit him while he was in the form of a Cat, and it will take nine years for him, to be human again, without anyone knowing his secret and without falling in love. His first love (Miao Xiao Wan) is an honest woman who has created an app that translates the sounds of Cats and their language, but unexpectedly has bought huge problems since its release to the market. She then asks for help from Liang Qu, who has now become a cat researcher.
Star Power
Everyone played their respective roles well, and the soundtrack suited the movie well. You’ll like how the love story of the leads wasn’t rushed but developed slowly. janice Wu’s acting was great as expected and their chemistry was acting, but still, they felt like a genuine couple somehow. Sehun looked confident, charming, and chic.
Overall Opinion
Particular recommendation to all the cat lovers out there, as they have used excellent animations for cats, and all of the scenes are cute and humorous. You won’t waste your time, so give it a shot.
