Drama Digest
The drama starts with a passionate and intelligent girl, Puimek Nappasorn, a high school student who is the main lead. She is a genius and intelligent girl. Her parents, as well as teachers, always demand more of her. Their expectations of Puimek keep on increasing, to which Puimek starts falling into depression. On the other hand, the male lead, Newwie Thitipoom, suffers from OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder), whose day-to-day life is very different. He is highly conscious about cleanliness, constantly keeps washing hands, doesn’t share dishes, and doesn’t touch people or let them feel him. The story turns when Puimek gets suicidal plans owing to depression, and Newwie finally offers her his hand and destroys her suicidal plans. This is the moment when they meet. But unfortunately, Newwie’s illness worsens, and the couple is forced to separate. Destiny finally brings them together once again. This time, they promise each other to get out of their mental illness and start living together. Will they be able to recover from their mental inability? Will the beloved couple stay together in time? Watch the series to see what unfolds.
The Feel Good Part
The best part of the series is when Newwie, who is sure of not touching anyone or not letting anyone touch him, actually offers his hand to depression sufferer, Puimek, to give up on her suicidal thoughts. He persuades her to abandon her suicide plan. Slowly, consoling her, he approaches Puimek and offers her help. Seeing Newwie’s efforts toward her, Puimek gives up on her intentions.

“You Are My Missing Piece” is a series that describes how people with mental illness are looked down on these days. Overall Opinion
The series is nicely structured and plotted, showing love against all illnesses. Society doesn’t understand the trauma and keeps putting more expectations and rules on them. The audience, through this series, gets to know more about mental illness which close one could suffer. And it is then that the mental support of a partner becomes a plus point to recovering and healing.
