Drama Digest

The drama follows the love stories and resultant relationships among men and women in their 20s and 30s, featuring different social media or SNS attributes such as hashtags, comments, DMs, likes, stories and texts.

The Feel-Good Part

The main star element of the show is how being a web series, it is quite a fast-paced story. The drama is very crisp and immediately cuts to the chase. You are fully aware of all the characters and their personality right from the beginning of the show. The main characters are kind of sweet and adorable in their ways, and all of them have a personal charm, making getting attached to them seem like a piece of cake. Everyone can see a partial reflection of themselves or their daily lives in the drama via the characters and the stories.

The Disappointing Factor

The drama might not turn out to be the best option for someone who is looking for a super fresh, new, and entirely out-of-the-box kind of story. The story is instead cliché at points. Also, not to forget that the drama completely fails to keep you at the edge of your seats and demand more. Ergo, although sweet yet, the story is somewhat predictable, and this might appeal as boring to a mass portion of the audience.

In-Depth Analysis

The drama revolves around the stories of young people in their 20s and hence, most of the young adults, hoping for beautiful relationships and who are optimistic about young love, can easily connect with the characters. Not just this, but it also includes stories of people in their 30’s, therefore enabling the adults looking for a second chance in terms of relationships or life itself to fall in love with the show. Further, the characters’ ideologies, reaction towards situations, and opinions regarding life and relationships are something that every modern individual living in the technology-driven world which thrives on the power of social media can relate with. The show is a flawless blend of drama, comedy, and romance, which are the actual spirits of k-dramas. It portrays how the social media world is as prominent as the real world, if not more.

Star Power

The drama being ‘Han Seung Woo’s’ (Member of the k-pop band Victon) debut drama, attracted many audiences. He is part of the main cast and did a fabulous job in portraying the role of Lee Shi Woo. Furthermore, the main cast includes ‘Oh Chang Seok’ as Kang Ji Hoon, ‘Shin Hye Jung’ as Jung So Ra, and ‘Chae Soo Ah’ as Kim Chae Ah. All of them adapted their characters quite perfectly.

Overall Opinion

This drama is the perfect option for anyone looking for a quick drama fix. If you don’t have much time to spend in front of your screens and binge shows for hours, then you should differently check out the Love #hashtag. You will love this short, cute, and sweet drama.
