Drama Digest

The drama revolves around a school-going girl named Koharu. She has a hobby of making plastic models and mostly sits alone in school. Koharu, one day, goes by an antique shop and buys a plastic gun and a toy named Alice. After spending almost the whole night assembling the gun, she sleeps. When she wakes up, she finds the bullets of the gun flying and the toy, Alice, tells her that she has to be part of a fight. This fight is for survival and is called “Girl Gun Lady.” In this fight, Koharu has to shoot her schoolmates with the gun.

The Feel Good Part

The plot of the drama is entertaining. The story was full of twists and had some vividness in it. Each character’s characteristics were different, giving the drama a unique look. The visual effects used were a pleasure to the eyes. The story was well put up and had no plot mistakes. All these characters were not identical, giving the drama a unique taste as the viewers couldn’t previously estimate what that character would do in that particular situation. Therefore, the characters’ uniqueness kept the plot and the scenes a mystery and the drama more and more addictive.

The Disappointing Factor

The ending of the drama could have been better. The toy Alice showed all the qualities of a human. She was kind and treated everyone nicely. But, the ending didn’t specify her as a human, which turned out to be a bit disappointing. The scenes of the shooting were a bit too long, with the characters talking a lot in a life-die situation. The scenes where the characters are shown taking aim at their targets and missing them seemed too unreal as the aim was shown to be on point.

In-Depth Analysis

The drama overall was a success. The ending had some people disappointed, but the drama, on the whole, was not at all a disappointment. The story was rendered beautifully, with the actors adding a cherry on top. Every drama has its best and not-so-best moments. This drama has its climax a bit downscaled, but that was only because it was not what the audience initially expected the climax to be like. If the ending is considered from another perspective, it has no flaw. Hence, as a whole, the drama doesn’t seem to have any issue with any of its production, story, acting, or other technicalities. The music of the drama was also soul-soothing and engaging. Hence, it can be said that the drama was a success.

Star Power

The actors all did a fantastic job. The actress who played Koharu, Sei Shirashi, did a fabulous job. She played her character well. The actors did justice to their roles. The ones who were supposed to be cold, too, had the audience love them because of their flawless performance. The part of Alice was challenging as it was of a toy. But, the actress Chara Yuno did her best and brought out the emotions well.

Overall Opinion

The drama teaches all a lesson. The bond of friendship and love is powerful. It can make a girl who had no battle experience fight in it with all her zeal. Koharu saw her friend die on the battlefield, and the pain of losing her friend made her string and gave her immense strength to fight the battle. It is a drama with a bonding lesson and how a weak girl can become strong and courageous through the friendship and bonds she shares.
