Drama Digest

This is a Thai television daily soap also called ‘Lakorn’ in Thai. It’s about two childhood friends who find love in each other years later.

The Feel-Good Part

This is one of the most appreciated Thai Lakorn of all time. Though simple, it was extremely appreciated and immensely loved by the people nationwide. The chemistry of the main actors was the most loved of all the aspects. The music of the series is unexpectedly good. The subtle countryside story is a plus point.

The Disappointing Factor

The show merely has anything to complain about. In eyes of everyone who has watched the show, it is flawless.

In-Depth Analysis

Kiew, a country guy is the protagonist of the series. He is an ordinary man with distinctive good looks. He has been a farmer by profession in his younger days as his family comes from a farming background. He currently works in Bangkok, the main city of Thailand. One day, his life suddenly falls apart as he experiences a breakup with his girlfriend. As this is the first breakup of his life, he takes it pretty hard emotionally. This makes him quit his job in the city and return to the village where his family resides. After returning, he takes a job as a farmer. After taking up the job, he learns that the owner of the fame is none other than his childhood best friend, Chompoo. Chompoo had feelings for Kiew when they were younger but never got to confess to him. But after knowing that Chompoo is his boss at his new job, things take an ugly turn between them. They would work together but would fight a lot. These fights grew day by day until both finally started having feelings for each other. But their fights and arguments are humourous, sweet, and fun to watch. They constitute the little moments between them. After things get sorted between them, both confess to each other and start living happily together.

Star Power

Both the main leads, the male lead, Kiew, portrayed by Nagdech Kugimiya, and the female lead, Chompoo, played by Maylada Susri are appreciated for their amazing chemistry. Both of them are quite popular actors in Thailand and one of the reasons the drama was so loved was because of their chemistry.

Overall Opinion

The show is a simple and interesting one with an exceptional rewatch value. It is a highly recommended one.
