Drama Digest

View Viva is a renowned rising star who lives in Ms. Jam’s all-female Dorm. At some point, she meets the accommodating and kind man Fai who later on turns into a safety officer at Ms. Jam’s quarters as he was falsely accused and fired from his previous job.. Fai and View become incredible friends and Fai consistently helps and guides View at any point she deals with issues. The fellowship between the two gradually turns romantic but because of View’s standing as a well-known rising star would immediately end upon the discovery of her dating a poor, typical security guard.

The Feel-Good Part

In my overview of Richy Rich, I said that it had the best creation, oh boy was I wrong. This one is right up there. I think it’s actually the result of Kao and the way he portrays Fai. Fai has been made as this sweet and legit individual with a coincidental honesty. Kao portrays him exactly as such. That is what’s so enduring this creation. You can truly see the hard work that went into this. Moreover that reference to Kao himself in episode 4? Splendid.

The Disappointing Factor

The manner in which View is treated by her supervisor and everybody around, no big surprise the only person she is herself around is Fai. She’s being spoken for, and one of the worst things you can do to an individual is play with their independence. Now she is being treated as a simple sexual figure and that’s it. Truly, how disgusting do you have to be to request sex from somebody as a favour? So baffling!

In-Depth Analysis

The Girl Next Room series strikes once more, this time with a tale about prohibited love. This was in fact not perhaps the most famous part, but it surely holds up well against the rest and may I even say better compared to a few. It’s unobtrusive and interesting and appears to be entirely agreeable, yet these ethics don’t hold a light on the manner in which the leads are composed. View Viva appears to be arrogant and vaporous, however, that is only a person she depicts. Under all that, she is just a basic and practical girl, very obvious from the absolute first scene. Man, Fai is really the best character I’ve at any point come across. He’s entertaining, brilliant, attractive, dedicated, honest and substantially more, however his most charming quality is that he’s genuine. This is a couple you can sincerely root for, as it deserves.

Star Power

I’ve seen Gigi in a couple of other series (Yes, I’m discussing Pam), however, this is the first series of Kao’s that I’ve watched and I am ready to say I love him. He simply depicts Fai as no other person could. Additionally how adorable was his introduction?! Kao is one of those actors who simply appear to flourish in every role. He has the acting secrets to do the cheerful scenes as well as the serious scenes with equal excellence. Neo as usual is great.

Overall Opinion

What a charming ending! Remember the grilled fish shop Fai wanted to open? He did it, and he set it up exactly like View asked him to, with the karaoke and gumball machine. Also, well done GMMTV, with the Off Gun reference. So, since they are both well-established now,, they reunite and everything is great. The rap toward the end though. So adorable! It gave us a report on every one of the couples following a year and spoiler, they’re all still together. An extraordinary end of an incredible series.

I know this has turned into a Faigun fan page, however, don’t let that distract you from the fact that this series is worth a watch. The story is charming and very drawing. I hope everybody gives it a try.
