The Feel-Good Part

The show follows a successful lawyer who makes a mistake and suddenly loses her position at the top. As the story unfolds, focusing is more on murder mysteries, revenge, unsolved crime, scheming, retributions, justice and hidden identities with a bit of romance to keep the audience interested. It has a gripping plotline from the start, slowly turning into a more dramatic and thrilling tale. The story also incorporates a political aspect with cultural corruption as one of the core topics. The romance is a side story in this show which is quite acceptable to watch. The lead actors perform brilliantly while portraying their respective characters for most of the parts. The show also provides an intimidating, intelligent and powerful female ready to grab every opportunity on the way to success. The production quality and editing elevate the series as the ambience and transitions are smooth and crisp. The story has edge and sophistication throughout the very end.

The Disappointing Factor

This show managed to carry out mystery thriller aspects, but it lacked in portraying a romantic storyline, hindering the experience for some audiences. The romance between the couple becomes cringe-worthy and unnecessary most of the time. Due to its slow pacing, it might feel prolonged at times. It also lacks in the execution as the intricate narrative as the on-screen plot becomes sluggish in some ways.

In-Depth Analysis

Why Her is a story of the self-made lawyer succesfully leaping on top, who stands at the very top in her career but lapses a bit, which affects her position, and she becomes depressed and angry about her mistakes. There is another play at work as the political parties and corrupted offices handle the country on their terms. Through the dark times, only one student helps and supports her to gain the respect and power she aspires to be. It showcases the journey of redemption and second chances with the search for truth as it becomes more important than other possible recriminations. It also showcases a few tropes like noona romance, love triangles, courtroom drama, and office politics to provide an impactful experience.

Star Power

The director of this show is Park Soo Jin, and the writer is Kim Ji Eun. See Hyun Jin plays the role of Oh Soo Jae, Hwang In Youp plays the character of Gong Chan, Heo Joon Ho plays Choi Tae Gook, and Baek In Hyuk plays Choi Yoon Sang in this show.

Overall Opinion

It is a great addition to watch as the story is outstandingly clever, and the plot twists believably played out. It has complex dynamics, intricate narrative, and unflattering yet humane plotlines that fits well with its given genre.
