Drama Digest
The story revolves around a man and a woman who have been best friends for twenty years. In the present day, they live together in the same house for about two weeks, and only then do they realize that is much more than that friendship.
The Feel-Good Part
Despite having a short run time, the show did not disappoint the viewers. The execution and the ending were perfect. As the name goes by “Soundtrack#1” conveys all these messages through the lyrics and music, the essence of love and friendship that life offers even if it’s for a short period. They well maintained the pacing of the story in the cast and made it all work with their charms.
The Disappointing Factor
The short run time of the show might have been and disappointing factor as some viewers wanted more of this light-hearted, “friends to lovers” trope of drama.
In-Depth Analysis
The two main characters, the guy Han Soon woo, and the woman Seo Eun Soo, have been best friends for about twenty years. Han Soon woo is a rookie photographer, his personality is warm-hearted and also has a charming appearance. Seo Eun Soo is an open-hearted, honest and cheerful person. Three years ago, she received an opportunity to become a lyricist. When the two of them started living together, romance blossoms as they realize their feelings for each other.
Star Power
The cast, being the most prominent actors in present-day K-Dramas, turned the show into a heartthrob. Han So Hee and Park Hyung Sik’s charms brought many viewers to the show. Especially after starring in the popular K-Drama “Nevertheless”, Han So Hee delivered this one with the same integrity.
Overall Opinion
This show is a perfect watch for a comfort show. It was satisfying to watch along with the good pacing of the show and with an amazing performance by the cast. This is short and sweet and does not need significant investment.
