In 1987, a bloodstained man flinched into a women’s university dormitory in Seoul. A female student, Young Ro, falls for him at first sight on a group blind date. She takes care of him despite the stringent management and hazardous circumstance. Young Ro was shocked when she discovered his truth. Young Ro heartbreakingly watched over his first love, and Soo Ho is left with no choice other than move accordingly to the command to save his teammates. And goes back to the country where his siblings are. Young Ro disagrees with his father and works with Soo Ho to keep her beloved man and friends.

The Feel-Good Part

The storyline was intriguing and that was impactful. The production has a level. The combat and prosecution phenomena were choreographed well. How lightning was used made the scenes eye-capturing. The production team needs to be appreciated. The cast was impressive and impactful.

The Disappointing Factor

The ending is emotionally scarred and unsatisfied. Many characters didn’t have the proper conclusion. There were plot holes. This drama could have been great if it didn’t have an offset of the balance in the plotline. The drama was not able to convey what tone it had.

The story revolves around a North Korean spy, Lim Soo Ho, who was betrayed by his country. The plot shows his journey to accomplish his mission. Soo Ho and Young Ro face tribulation. They face an incredible amount of suffering. Snowdrop is an action or thriller drama with black comedy interwoven. It also consists of tragic romance. The drama promises a multitude of themes that draw in an audience, but the shorts as the drama’s multiple plotlines. The drama also ensures a plot twist. Every main character within the plot starts with promise and depth but ends up in disappointment. This drama is adapted from a handwritten journal of a North Korean defector.

Star Power

The drama’s stellar cast and the actors brought the characters to life. The actors allowed the audience to connect with their characters. Jisoo nailed her role. She presented excellent acting skills. The couple has chemistry on another level.

Overall Opinion

All the elements in the drama were enjoyable. Snowdrop is a stunning drama. The drama is well-written with good casting.
