Drama Digest

A piece that tells the enigmatic tale of a man who has had a part of his body stolen by organ harvesters and who ‘connects’ with a person who has had an organ transplant.

The Feel-Good Part

The drama is entertaining, even without many unnecessary plot twists. Almost every genre, except for action, thrill, and criminality, is mixed in the movie. The overall storyline advances steadily and is well-written. If you don’t understand Korean, you can still enjoy this film.

The Disappointing Factor

It gets off to a solid start, but it could have been stronger. Therefore, this might seem a little strange to those who appreciate Korean movies with their traditional narrative style.

In-Depth Analysis

This is the first Korean drama project for filmmaker Takashi Miike. A great drama that doesn’t stand out much from Korean dramas is ‘connect.’ The narrative is original and novel. In their opinion, there are only a few enjoyable moments in the movie. Both comical and tragic elements can be found in the plot.

Star Power

The central characters in “Connect” are played by Jung Hae In, Go Kyung Pyo, and Kim Hye Jun, who recently displayed his acting prowess in “Snowdrop.” Everyone in the drama gives impressive performances, from the extras to the main characters.

Overall Opinion

Even if you’ve seen a few K-movies, this eccentric one has a unique story.
