The story revolves around Shinohara Sato and Miyama Kenta who get married but because of the unusual environment in the Miyama family, both of them struggle to stay there. But Sato survives it and turns the Miyama family into an ordinary family.

It is an entertaining melodrama with a well-developed story. The drama focuses on the life of both the main characters and the supporting cast as well. It shows the struggles of people who stick to ancient customs. It has well character development, and they built the story well till the end. The most important, satisfying factor is the happy ending which fans look forward to.

The disappointing factors about the show are the old customs and traditions that they showed the family following. Many viewers do not agree with those and find it uncomfortable to watch the show.
In-Depth Analysis
Shinohara Sato crop in a normal environment and their family runs a popular cafeteria by the name “Manpuku-ya”. Her personality is very careful which makes every customer like her. Miyama Kenta is a bright and well-educated man. He left his home years ago because he disagreed with his family’s customs and disliked his father. Miyama family is a famous elite family, and it has existed for 400 years since the Edo period. Kents is the second son of the family. Kenta’s father, Keiichi, is a strict man and has a dictatorial nature. Mihoko, Kenta’s sister, is unfriendly. And Akito is the elder brother. When Kenta and Sato got married, Kenta’s family did not react to the marriage in a good way. But Kenta’s father made the two of them live with them in their house. Because of the differences in traditions, Sato finds it difficult to blend in but struggles and turns the family into a normal one.
Star Power
The cast is the best thing about the show. Tao Tsuchiya, Matsushita Kouhei, and Kimura Tae made the show worth watching. They were the very reason people were interested in watching the show till the end.
Overall Opinion
It is a pleasant family drama that showcases the struggles modern-day people face while trying to survive in an ancient household with old customs and traditions. It is entertaining to watch.
