Legends and myths are what shape our society and what’s the smaller and concise form of society? It’s a school, and yes many schools have legends go in around them which has been passed on from generation to generation. Just like any other legend, there is this legend of “Yuriko-Sama” that has been handed down from generation to generation at Yugihara High School. The mere existence of “Yuriko-Sama” is to bring down the students who stand as a challenge against her and befall miseries to her opponents. Possessing just the Yuriko makes you the successor of the legend and one becomes the next “Yuriko-Sama”. Every Year in the new semester a fight with the new “Yuriko-Sama” begins. Shimakura Mizuki is ready to fight all the challenges set against her to save her best friend Yasaka Yuriko and unveil the real truth of the “Yuriko-Sama”.

The Feel-Good Part

The storytelling of the plot is very accurate; it does not ruin the atmosphere and mood of the audience while trying to build suspense. The suspense and atmosphere were well built with the background music and very well interwoven with the plot.

The Disappointing Part

This particular drama is a piece that is almost flawless and on point. There is no particular thing to criticize or to be disappointed about. Just towards the end the things are much more rushed and generalized because even after the school premises facing deaths of students keeps going on without any breaks. In reality, the schools would have been closed down but this is what is not relevant in the drama.

The drama brings out how w believes legends and starts framing and blaming without even corroborating facts. This drama showcases the stereotypical thoughts and beliefs humans have and love to preserve this instead of going out there to reveal the unknown.

The complete cast and even the side characters are amazing and natural in their acting. His acting is on point and there are no flat characters in the drama. The complete cast is the star power of the drama. Each of the characters displays the emotions on screen in such a compelling way that you feel that it is something real happening in your own life.

Overall Opinion

The performance the sound, the music the plot, and the main leads are perfect for this drama, this is a hidden gem. The audiences have been seen saying that they regretted not knowing this show existed. They were baffled to see such amazing work from Japanese Drama productions. This is a horror and a spine-chilling experience, not worth regretting not watching it. So, don’t wait to binge now
