Drama-Digest

Saikim, a wealthy person, meets Kaokla, a poor garage owner. After getting to know one another, the two don’t cross paths again for seven more years. Kaokla is now Carl Raman, the wealthy Asia Raman’s adopted son and company heir. Saikim is no longer the naive girl Kaokla first encountered; now, she is the full-fledged successor to her father’s hotel company.

The Feel-Good Part

You’ll be delighted to see Mario Maurer assume a significant role in this drama. He and Yaya make a great team, and their match is top-notch. There are numerous tender and heartwarming love scenes between the leads. The music is excellent. Beautiful filmmaking.

The Disappointing Factor

From episode to episode, the plot is prone to repetition. The plot structures in the show are monotonous. The character development and storytelling needed improvement. How many flashbacks were there? There are a lot of instances where the character merely sits and stares as a montage of old photos is played repeatedly.

In-Depth Analysis

The protagonist of this story, Saikim Kidakan, played by Urassaya Sperbund, was born into wealth and luxury but lives a dismal, lonely, and excessively controlled life inside the golden cage her father has constructed for her. She decides to alter her lifestyle with her pals to get a small taste of independence, and it’s there that she meets the hard-working but kind-hearted car technician Kaokla, played by Mario Maurer. Fate is an unstoppable force that brings two people together at a moment when they both need one another. And how could they resist each other’s allure on that fateful night when they both gave in to their affection for one another? However, this evening culminates in an unexpected pregnancy, and Kaokla eagerly supports Saikim in whatever choice she makes. They run away together, fall in love, marry, and are cruelly torn apart. Both are so internally torn apart that a piece of them passes away, especially Kaokla, who nearly loses everything—even his life. It is understandable why his suffering and sadness grew into anger and why he wanted to destroy those trying to destroy him. His wife and family, whom he loves dearly, have killed his family, and he has a burning desire to punish them.

Star Power

Yaya and Mario did a fantastic job of establishing chemistry, and this time Yaya truly moved beyond her comfort zone because she didn’t act awkwardly. Mario has a solid ability to play both charming and bad-guy characters. All of the supporting players performed a fantastic job. Bravo to Claire for being the best second female lead a Lakorn could hope for. Yaya, Aokbab, and Mint R. are all beautiful, which explains why they were paired with Mario in a visually pleasing way.

Overall Opinion

Overall, the actors did an excellent job of portraying humanistic principles through their flawed characters. It demonstrates how, occasionally, terrible decisions can be made by even exceptional people due to external pressures and insecurities. This is a serious story with fresh turns and no slap kisses, and one can watch it without having their blood boil. Ost is fantastic. It perfectly captures the drama’s spirit. It’s fun to watch and can get messy. Watch this masterpiece if you enjoy melodrama, love-hate relationships, and romance.
