Drama Digest

Kanda Fuyuki is a world-renowned pianist who has kept himself engaged since his wife’s death. Fuyuki finds Fukumaru, an unwanted cat, at a pet shop one day. Fuyuki is not adept with animals, yet he decides to get Fukumaru since he feels attracted. There has been a cat at the local pet shop seeking someone to take him home for a long time. He has grown up alone in his cage, rejecting prospective owners for silly reasons such as not being cute enough or nasty. An elderly gentleman named Kanda walks into the store and chooses to take him home. His fortunes have changed; as a widower abandoned by his grown children, Kanda seeks a kitten buddy to help him overcome his loneliness. Fuyuki’s life has changed since then, as Fukumaru has moved in with him. Ojisama to Neko follows Kanda and the newly named Fukumaru as they realize the pleasure of living together and understanding each other. Sometimes it is humorous and heart-warming.

The Feel-Good Part

Pets have traditionally been the most effective healers. The lead, a fabulous pianist, falls into a depression after the death of his wife. It is the narrative of how he recovers himself with the help of his cat and pals and gets forward with his life. Fukumaru (cat) and Kanda (character)’s are a story of love within themselves. The first look, the first meal, the first day at work, thoughts of “missing you,” and so on. Each moment is beautiful.

The Disappointing Factor

Besides the cat puppet, I know some people refuse because of it. Still, I promise you that you won’t be disappointed by it once you watch it. Anyway, It has no flaws, but it has a lot of emotional situations that can shatter you.

In-Depth Analysis

It is Adapted from the manga “A Man and His Cat” by Sakurai Umi.The plot is as straightforward as possible, but it is Featured flawlessly. Fukumaru is the sweetest choice I’ve ever seen, and watching these scenes warms my heart. This drama will also make you chuckle, and if you’re a bit emotional, it will make you cry at moments. Good music and excellent acting: A show about a pianist implies that the music will be of high quality. This show outperforms all expectations. I enjoyed the last track and the concert tunes. Also, the acting was excellent; the expressions of the actors when a terrible occurrence occurred were quite realistic.

Star Power

Kusakari Masao’s performance as Kanda is so realistic that I feel like a pal who only wants the best for him. When I saw how much having Fukumaru by his side had enhanced his life, it brought me to tears. I could connect with him on some level as a pet owner. The supporting cast is also a fascinating complement to the drama, and I appreciate watching them whenever they appear on the screen. The concept that Kamiki is vocalizing the cat is quite likely the sweetest thing that has ever happened in this drama. Because of the cute voice voicing, you’ll fall in love with the cat pretty quickly.

Overall Opinion

This drama is undoubtedly worthy of your attention. There are no dull moments; they are full of joy and heartwarming moments. The plot, the cast, and the music all worked well together. Personally, viewing this improves my day and allows me to forget about my troubles, if only for a moment.
