Drama Digest

When Masaya Funabashi (Nobuyuki Suzuki) was in middle school, he had a frightening appearance and was a skilled fighter. As a result, he gets dubbed the “Devil.” After graduating from middle school, he resolved to live a tranquil life away from the hostile school environment. Masaya Funabashi got challenged to a battle on his first day of high school. Still, because of his infamous reputation as the “Devil,” he can dodge it.

Meanwhile, seniors from several school clubs try to attract new members. Except for Naomi Anesaki (Rinka Kumada), these recruiters overlook Masaya Funabashi. She is the tea ceremony club’s president. Masaya Funabashi then decides to become a member of the tea ceremony club. Masaya Funabashi’s character gradually changes due to his friendship with Wataru Yamada (Toshiki Seto), a rookie member of the tea ceremony club, Kaho Asakawa (Minori Hagiwara), and his learning about tea ceremony.

The Feel-Good Part

Masaya Funahashi, the most vital member of the tea ceremony club who decided to join to “obtain a calm and serene heart and life,” is already amusing and laughing. It’s a fantastic combination of awful and tea ceremonies. The story of conversion via tea ceremony is equally fascinating.

The Disappointing Factor

Although it is sometimes slightly different, I like this narrative quite a bit. But when I returned to the last episode after a long absence, it felt like a highly low-quality plot with very little happening, at a strangely monotonous drawn-out conclusion. I believed the storyline lacked concentration, that characters other than the male lead didn’t get enough depth and that the climax didn’t build up enough to lead to a magnificent ending.

In-Depth Analysis

It’s a drama that makes people believe that what’s inside is more significant than what’s on the outside. Individuals may misinterpret it, but it will be a drama in which you will undoubtedly sense that some understand it. As a result, even if you believe that “there are just enemies around you…”, you should consider that there are individuals who are following your regular efforts and endeavours. People who are fascinated by the tea ceremony or do not understand it may feel enlightened after seeing this drama.

Star Power

Nobuyuki Suzuki, a member of the theatrical company EXILE, will play the main character of “A Bad Boy Drinks Tea,” Masaya Funahashi. Because it has a crisp and robust appearance, you might become attached to the role of Yankee even in “A Bad Boy Drinks Tea.” Naomi Anezaki, a third-year student and the president of the tea ceremony group, is interested in such a Masaya. Rinka Kumada plays this character. Toshiki Seto, who plays Masaya’s best friend, Wataru Yamada, and Minori Hagiwara, who plays Kaho Asakawa.

Overall Opinion

Besides the concerns I’ve raised, the main characters are pretty likeable, and I thoroughly enjoy watching this drama. The main male lead and the president of the Tea Club, among other essential characters, are appealing, and there is some fantastic comedy. There are enough admirable qualities in the characterization and other areas to make this drama worthwhile to watch. Surprisingly, some incredible statements and insights into life, mainly what kindness means.
