Love Distance revolves around the backdrop of COVID-19 during the summer of 2020, when people were quarantined in their houses. The plot is about six people living in an apartment who unknowingly gets released to each other. Takiguchi Miwa and Akira are two among the six of them. They are a young married couple who gets to spend more time together due to the restrictions on going out. Then there is the young photographer Asano Chiaki who lost his job due to the COVID-19 and is currently unemployed and clicks pictures from the rooftop with the central topic of mundane life. Lastly, the three Newtubers, Minato, Sho, and Anna, produce daily content for their already established fanbase, whose part is also Takiguchi Miwa.

The Feel-good Part

The Japanese short drama Love Distance, is a refreshing story because of the relatable phase of our life, that is, staying home due to the outbreak of COVID-19. This is a cute story that involves romance and a slice of life drama genre. The drama focuses on the little things that are worth appreciating. These things may seem irrelevant in a busy life, but due to the less of activities. The feeling of infatuation and love are powerfully depicted in this series, which can be felt from the screen. This Japanese series has a ton of feel-good parts which is relatable even in real life.

The Disappointing Factor

Love Distance is a feel good drama, and there is not any room for disappointment. The only thing which can be closed to disappoint is first, the story was so good and well depicted, it was a shame that it was a short drama with such few episodes, secondly, in the ending the story of the characters got a little complicated and entangled. Otherwise, there is not a major disappointing factor in Love Distance.
