Drama Digest

They set the story in a time when the demon and the hero continue to fight each other. A classroom of high school explodes with magic because of the amount of magic involved. The students who died in the explosion get reincarnated in the alternate world. The protagonist of the story and the girl with the lowest standing in the class get reincarnated as a spider. Further, the story shows her struggles to survive.

The Feel-Good Part

This show is unique, given its plot and storyline. There are fewer storylines where a character turns into a spider. The show is about adapting to the new world that the characters got teleported into and all their struggles to survive in that place. The most mesmerizing of all was the character of Kumoko, the most unfortunate one. Being a spider, she faced the most difficulties surviving in a world full of gigantic monsters. One notable trait in her character was the amount of hope she had. Even if she faced the most danger, she had hoped that she could overcome anything that she set her mind to. She also provides humor with her cheerful nature, with no worries.

The Disappointing Factor

The disappointing factor about this show is the poor animation. They used CGI for the fight scenes, which proved to be a downfall. Also, there is no emotional growth or change in the character, even if they go through the most horrifying events. They could have developed the show more prominently, but because of that missing factor, it did not receive enough recognition.

In-Depth Analysis

It was on a completely normal day that a catastrophe struck and wiped out the entire population in a high school. What followed next seemed to be a miracle for some and unfortunate for someone else. Some lucky students reincarnated as members of the royal family and have noble backgrounds in the alternate world. However, one girl, the weakest of all, was reincarnated as a spider and had to face many struggles for survival. The new world was of the RPG system, where she defeated monsters and leveled up, becoming more powerful, hoping her efforts would be fruitful and grant her a better life later.

Star Power

The show was originally a Japanese light novel isekai series written by Okina Baba that goes by the same name. The VA’s such as Namikawa Daisuke, Kitamura Eri, Hayami Saori, and the main character Kumoku played by Yuuki Aoi played their roles well and were able to deliver all the emotions.

Overall Opinion

Overall, it is a good isekai show and also an improper one. It will give you mixed feelings, but there is undoubtedly a significant reason to watch the show, which is the portrayal of the characters, especially Kumoko, with her humor and determination.
