As the name says, “Coffee Ikaga Deshou,” which says “How about some coffee?”, the story revolves around a coffee shop. Aoyama Hajime owns the coffee shop that runs on a mobile car. He drives his car around cities and comforts people with his cup of coffee.

The Feel-Good Part

This drama is based on emotions and showcases the importance of human connection. The plot was well-driven and successfully delivered all the messages. It covered issues such as grief, status, popularity, and others faced by people in their daily lives in all the episodes. The characters are well written and attract affection towards them. In each episode, the characters go deep into an issue and solve it like a puzzle piece, which makes the show interesting. In the end, it shows how to fix a problem and how to restart again from the point where you have ceased and make the best out of the worst moments.

The Disappointing Factor

The show had very few disappointing factors, which include the changing of characters in each episode, that made it difficult to analyse any character in depth.

In-Depth Analysis

As Aoyama Hajime travels across towns selling coffee, he experiences a series of events. Meanwhile, he also heals people’s grief along with his coffee. His character seems gentle and carefree, yet he holds deep secrets within him. Each episode covers an issue followed by a plot climax and finally solving it at the end with a message.

Star Power

They adapted the show from a manga that goes by the same name. Ogigami Naoko directed it along with the co-director Mori Yoshitaka. The show received most of the recognition because of Nakamura Tomoya, who played Aoyama Hajime for his charms.

Overall Opinion

This show is an excellent choice for a comfort show. It is relaxing, and the story has the very elements such as humanity, kindness, and love.
