Drama-Digest

Her life has fallen apart due to the death of her best female friend. Her output begins to suffer. She decides to vacation from the fast-paced city life in a secluded town rather than continue fighting it out in the metropolis. In pursuit of solitude, she travels to the Yun Miao village in the Yunnan Province, which is close to Dali.

She quickly learns that navigating fields covered with animal droppings and muck is not at all like the beautiful life she had imagined it would be in an agricultural village. But she quickly achieves some balance. She also meets some other big-city types who have decided to leave the metropolis for a quieter way of life. One of them goes by the name of Xie Zhi Yao. His hometown is Yun Miao. He also left a lucrative position to launch a tourism company featuring Yun Miao. Soon, Xu Hong Dou understood that she could put her expertise in the hotel industry to good use by assisting him.

The Feel-Good Part

The drama takes you around the lovely town of Yun Miao, where you’ll meet various characters, each with their quirks and flaws. Some of the best-written characters in Chinese drama can be found in the cast. It’s a fantastic blend of watching them navigate their lives on the fly with no rush between the romance and their life stories. They are ordinary people that we see; they are realistic and unremarkable. The verbal exchanges between the characters, who all have different worldviews, and the representation of youth and immaturity. It is well-thought-out, natural, and raw. The plot is compelling enough to deserve your attention on its own.

The Disappointing Factor

The crew did an average job of introducing the characters. The supporting characters’ plotlines were not much attractive.

In-Depth Analysis

There is little of a plot. But the tale is a challenging one. It’s a big, broad story. Numerous stories are combined to create a magnificent and fascinating concoction. The drama has a huge cast. Yes, but not just the lead actors. This drama investigates the stories of at least ten additional characters. Characters drive the narrative rather than the storyline. Unlike other dramas, the character relationships and dialogue matter the most in this drama. The drama is a masterwork of screenwriting. The OST, BGM, and utilization of music during various scenes in the theater were all superb. You will be made to laugh, you will be made to cry, you will learn about life from this drama, you will be given hope, and you will be granted happiness.

Star Power

A fantastic cast played every part perfectly. While watching this, you cannot stop praising the form for how flawlessly it embodied each character. Each figure stands out on its own. They experience a good amount of hardship in life. They have a few tales to share. Their stories and tribulations in life are explored in the drama.   The primary couple’s relationship growth was an example of maturity, wisdom, effective communication, practical knowledge of one another’s needs, sharing of time and space, and unselfish love while maintaining childhood playfulness, humor, and scorching romance. Everybody’s stories were based on actual events.

Overall Opinion

This is not your typical fast-paced drama; it deals with friendships, interpersonal connections, and life. Seeing it makes you feel really at ease because it is a highly healing drama. Many of the minor things we encounter in our daily lives are depicted in the episode. While most viewers will undoubtedly adore this drama, some might not enjoy it because of its plodding pace or for other reasons. This drama will not only entertain you, but it will also make you appreciate life’s beauty and change the way you view it.
