Drama Digest

In 2062, twenty years after a massive project to automate the workforce went wrong, humanity found itself in a devastating war caused by Artemis, the AI at the heart of that project. This war left Earth in ruins.

The Feel-Good Part

The storyline of the anime is great! It had an excellent CGI, and the characters were amazing, too.

The Disappointing Factor

The sci-fi in the series was badly executed. There were also so many plot holes that made the series less enjoyable and irritating.

In-Depth Analysis

Black Rock Shooter is a Japanese multimedia series centered on characters designed by the illustrator Ryohei Fuke, who also goes by Huke. The story focuses on a mysterious girl with black hair and a fiery blue eye, who is the central character of the series. Down Fall is a continued series of this chapter. It revolves around 2062, when Earth is in a fierce battle with Artemis, an AI that turned against humanity after a big project to replace human workers with automation went wrong. To try and win this war, three highly skilled human warriors are chosen to protect humanity. Empress, the last surviving warrior, wakes up in a deserted research facility with no memories, except for a place called “Lighthouse No. 8.” She starts looking for answers and soon learns that Artemis poses a significant threat, and she’s the only one who can save the world from disaster. The story was very different than the other series. There were also many other animations and unique style art added. The music was pretty great, too.

Star Power

The characters were terrific and were played by excellent characters. Dead Master was played by Saori Hayami, Black Trike was played by Misaki Kuno, Black Rock Shooter (Empress) was played by Courtney Lin, Norito was played by Stephanie Komure, Strength was played by Megumi Han, Black Rock Shooter was played by Yui Ishikawa, Colonel (David) was played by Todd Haberkorn, Colonel was played by Todd Haberkorn, Smiley was played by Kaiji Tang, Miya was played by Jennie Kwan, and Charlotte was played by Risa Mei.

Overall Opinion

It was overall okay to watch.
