The Feel-Good Part

The drama plot is a mixture of horror and thriller elements. This type of plot will attract viewers. The lighting and visuals are perfect for this theme. It also has a touch of romance drama. In a word, the story is very likeable. One of the positive factors of this drama is the portrayal of the antagonist. He is spectacular in his role.
The female lead Huang Pei Jia as Pan Li Lan is also impressive. She is a determined and compassionate character. There are various shades in the role of Er Lang portrayed by Chris Wu. He was at first a self-serving character who is also sensitive in nature. His character development is another positive factor of this drama. The drama has some funny moments along with creepy vibes. Overall this is a balanced drama. Some supporting casts also did really well.

The Disappointing Factor

The drama has the potential to be a great supernatural drama, but it fails to do so. In some parts, the drama makes no sense. Some parts are draggy. The ending feels rushed. In the total of six episodes, the drama could have been arranged in a better way. But the first three episodes are so slow, and the last three episodes are rushed. Hence those parts have no effect on viewers. Some effects are terrible. The chemistry between the leads is not eye-catchy. They have no spark between them. The revelation could have been done a little bit sooner.
The horror elements are not enough to create a scary atmosphere.
The soundtrack is also not that good.

In-Depth Analysis

This drama has horror, supernatural and comic elements. The drama is a compact form of various shades of character. The character development of leads and the antagonist depicts that no person is ordinary. There are always some shades in their character. This is a thoughtful interpretation used here. The adventures they faced together are impressive to watch.
