The Feel-Good Part

The show is quite light-hearted considering the struggle the plot poses for the characters. The dramatization of family and work life is done in a way that is grounded yet entertaining. The show deals with the struggles of adulthood in a way that’s realistic and relatable, which will catch many viewers’ eye. Each character is distinct in the show and brings something new for the audience to enjoy. They are likable and feel familiar, which makes it engaging to watch. The different dynamics between the women in the show is of great importance and remains to be the focal point, which is interesting to watch as the characters are strong and different yet come together after leaving their differences aside. The dialogue is the strongest suit of the show as it is naturalistic and flows easily through the show.  The show is sincere at its core, which is why it leaves a warm feeling once it’s over.

The Disappointing Factor

The romantic aspect of the show is quite slow and barely develops into something that is interesting by the end. People who are going into the show expecting a romance may be disappointed. The last few episodes lose its momentum and end up coming off as lacklustre, which may be a let-down for people waiting for a better payoff as they have committed to a long show.

In-Depth Analysis

The series is character driven for the most part and delivers well on its core concept of navigating adulthood and changing dynamics. Watching the characters develop and hence their relationships transform is quite fascinating to watch. The writing remains strong throughout as the characters don’t do things that go outside their profile and maintains a balance of heavy and light dramatic elements. It also manages to create tensions without being melodramatic, which is commendable.

Star Power

All the performances were excellent. From the main characters to the villains, everyone played their characters in a way that makes the audience connect with the characters, which is incredible to witness.

Overall Opinion

For people who are looking for something relatable to watch, this is definitely worth your time as the shortcomings of the show can be overlooked quite easily.
