Drama Digest:

Mi Xiao Qi is a young resident of the Cloud World. When she accidentally opens a sachet from Wine Immortal, she gets transported to the Bei Yue Kingdom of the Kun Peng Continent, transformed into a cute, big cat. She encounters the Prince of Bei Yue, Bei Gong, who decides to take the cat back to his palace, where she finds out that his blood can transform her back into her human form. The Wine Immortal tells her that she can only go back to Cloud World if she finds her ‘fated one’ and makes him fall in love with her. A strange mystical messenger informs her that she also has to collect four pieces of the magical jade and place them before entering Cloud World. She can only obtain these four pieces by passing through four stages with the help of her ‘fated one.’

The Feel-Good Part:

This is a cute, and lighthearted fantasy drama. The story gets deeper after the beginning and everything is well-put plot-wise, but overall, the show maintains its silliness with goofy humor and cute romance. There are conflicts between the main leads but it gets resolved at a good pace and doesn’t drag anything for too long.

The Disappointing Factor:

The show doesn’t take itself seriously. It’s a bit silly and the romance can be quite cheesy at times. This is a drama where you don’t think seriously about the plot. It is focused on the main couple and the story doesn’t get much deeper except for the twists revealed. They tie up all the loose ends perfectly but it just goes on to show how much the drama is about romance and not a deeper, more complicated plot.

In-Depth Analysis:

This show is cute, lighthearted, and fantastical. The plot is well written and none of the arcs gets dragged on for too long. The romance is quite wholesome and takes center stage. All the characters have really good chemistry, the main couple and even the two male leads have a good back and forth. The story is unique  creative, and not predictable. All the characters and arcs maintain the viewer’s interest. There’s a lot of good and silly humor. The costumes and sets are particularly appealing; they create a good atmosphere. The ending was good and satisfying in some ways.

Star Power:

The cast isn’t very renowned but performs really well. This is a fantasy, romantic comedy-drama, so it can feel over the top or annoying at times but the cast did a great job, and the characters and their silly humor feel quite natural, and not at all annoying.

Overall Opinion:

A cute romcom with good humor, passionate actors, and good production. In the beginning, it felt like a predictable and very cheesy show, but, after some episodes, the plot gets more interesting, and the end of the second season gives a good ending and ties up any loose ends.
