Drama Digest

In a discreet location on the fourth floor of an apartment building, a skilled Tuina practitioner offers clients a combination of physical relief and emotional well-being. The place is called ‘Heaven,’ and the title is derived from it. Using his distinctive approach, the masseur can uncover and alleviate the emotional distress that his clients are unwilling to confront, thus relieving their suffering.

The Feel-Good Part

The drama is surprisingly well done. It teaches a lot of techniques like physiotherapy, psychological therapies, etc. The character development is well done and executed. It’s visible how all the character get over their trauma and continues with their lives. They also show parallels between Tuina masseuse, which focuses on physical recovery, and counseling therapy, which emphasizes psychological healing.

The Disappointing Factor

The drama is excellent, besides a few minor flaws.

In-Depth Analysis

The drama centers around an apartment floor called ‘’Heaven.’’ “Heaven” is a place where people get massages. It’s hard to find because it’s tucked in small streets and on the fourth floor of a building. Here, the Tuina masseuse Tian Yi has a unique ability to help people with their emotional pain, even when they can’t talk about it. He can even help out people who are psychologists that help others but are not able to figure out their own or their family’s issues. He has also helped people like a graffiti artist with a troubled past, an actor who hides his feelings, a criminal, a person with mental health conditions, etc. These people reach out to Tian Yi and visit ‘Heaven,’ to find their authentic versions. It is a character-based drama, where everyone showcases their story throughout the series. There is not just a single plot that ties everyone and everything together, but eventually, everyone starts relating to each other.

Star Power

The cast did an excellent job throughout the series. The main lead, Tian Yi, was played by Anthony Wong. Other supporting characters like Ying Shiuan Hsieh played the role of Zhang Qi, Fandy Fan played the role of Yu Zhou, Wang Chen Lin played the role of Xiao Lu, Huang Pei Jia played the role of Lin Lin, and Chen Chia Kuei played the role of De Rui Ke.

Overall Opinion

The drama is fantastic and teaches the audience about a lot of things, especially psychology and therapies. I’d recommend watching this series.
