Drama Digest

A woman leaves a provocative note along with a lipstick mark after a failed one night stand. The man makes a vow to find her and sets out to fulfil his wish. He does this by sending out a wanted message through all possible media channels in a quest to find her. She saw the notification that day while scrolling through her phone and becomes embarrassed. She later realises that the man she left the note with was the owner of a big business, which led to him making her the Chief Executive to orchestrate another encounter. The series is from the web comic that goes by the same name.

The Feel-Good Part

The show is fast paced and gets to the main plot point without wasting much time with filler episodes. The plot of the show is quite intriguing as there is a lot of room to explore the dynamic of the protagonists.

The Disappointing Factor

The story is pretty cliché and doesn’t stray away from the common plot-points of this genre, which makes it predictable and may make it boring to watch. The episodes lack any kind of slow and come off as incoherent when you watch the show as a whole that is extremely distracting to watch as the audience is forced to connect things without being given much information about the events that take place in the show. Some of the subplots of the show are illogical and lazy, which can cause the audience to lose interest easily. The protagonists lack chemistry as their characters are not developed to begin with, which makes their dynamic quite uninteresting to watch. The male protagonist is obsessive and possessive, which is uncomfortable to watch in this day and age. His behaviour borders on harassment and assault, which doesn’t feel like a romantic elements and shouldn’t be presented as one. The age gap between the two characters is also quite concerning and repulsive to witness. The show is choppy with bad direction and a plot that isn’t strong enough to keep viewers engages. The characters are unlikable and irredeemable. The end is incomplete, which is a sorry excuse for a cliffhanger.

In-Depth Analysis

The drama comes close to being unwatchable as it doesn’t have anything going for it. Everything is executed lazily and the low budget is quite noticeable. The romance leaves a bad taste and the rest of the story is boring and clichéd that lacks depth.

Star Power

All the performances were decent. The actors tried their best with the material that was handed to them but their performances fell flat because of the lack of depth in the characters and hence not having much to work with.

Overall Opinion

Fall in Love with my Trouble is a show that should be skipped as there is nothing that is even remotely interested and well-executed throughout the show.
