Drama Digest
As the title suggests, Always Warm is a warm love story between Wen Qian and Bai Ji Ran.
Wen Qian is an emergent artist (oil painter) who is seeking inspiration for her new painting. She was dragged by her friend to the bar where Wen Qian meets a singer Bai Ji Ran, she gets impressed by him and asks him to be her model, but he refuses and declines the offer. At her father’s behest, Wen Qian goes to Wenshu Monastery in Chengdu to collect a part of her mother’s collection and receives a brocade bag containing meteorites. On her journey, she accidentally loses her bag and meets Bai Ji Ran by chance, who recognizes her as his childhood friend, but Wen Qian doesn’t remember him. Since she has lost all her money, certificates, and mobile phone she becomes dependent on him. Her family members target her as they all have an eye for the brocade bag that she has. Wen Qian and Bai Ji Ran face many challenges along the way. Will they manage to escape from the sneaky attacks? Will all of these strengthen Wen Qian and Bai Ji Ran’s bond? The drama is a combination of romance and comedy with an exciting plot that keeps the viewers engaged throughout the story. The best part of the drama is how romance buds between the main leads, and their relationship become emotional.

The actors are the star power of the show, Su Meng Yun and Fan Xia Dong; they both did an excellent job as Wen Qian and Bai Ji Ran. Su Meng Yun portrayed the role perfectly by giving the character its unique charm. Xia Dong beautifully performed his character, and it is hard not to fall for Ban Ji Ran. Every character in the drama enriched the show in their way.
