Drama Digest
Ye Zhi Qiu wants to learn martial arts to seek revenge from the killers of his family. His family was killed at a young age and was taken under control of Chang Shi Shi San of Xiyu Sword Sector to be raised under obscure and unhealthy conditions. He wants to repay his yifu, his master and wants to pay service to him. He soon realized that the world of martial arts is not as easy as it seems to be.
The Feel-Good Part
The good part of this series is the uniqueness and the freshness this series brings with itself. The story written for this series is smooth and doesn’t have many plot holes. The background score and music is impressive, and it creates another depth and dimension to the overall story and the scene. The casting was excellent and impactful. The spin of a classic hero versus villain is not seen a lot unless shown with poor accuracy. This show works wonders balancing both poles fairly.
The Disappointing Factor
This drama lacks cliches, and the male lead, both the positive and negative lead is unproblematic. The side characters, like the friends, are supportive and different from the other cringe dramas. The production is low-budget with accompanying bad writing and bad editing. It seems to be made with many scraps from different stories being added together with no cohesiveness. A big advertisement in the middle of the show makes it even worse to watch.
In-Depth Analysis
This drama doesn’t have any love triangles, last-minute breakups or misunderstandings. This differentiates this drama from all other ones. The chemistry between the side and the main characters is innocent. The male lead knows the past struggles and pains of the other characters and also himself, and it is nice that he cares about him after all. The supporting characters have complimented the main leads and has improved the overall quality of the series. The male lead is impressive and competent in the characters they are playing.
Star Power
The male lead is very promising with good acting skills. The usual skills of becoming a highly enthusiastic Martial arts master makes him capable of being accurate and specific, which shows he has rehearsed and learned about this before shooting for the drama. The good part is the major plot twist they have brought us a special, making it only 60 min long. The portrayal of traditional Chinese culture is shown in the special.

A magical experience for suspense lovers! It is a worthwhile watch.
