The world tours of Kpop girl groups are much anticipated by fans and they have mostly Asian wings on the tour. The albums with English verses have seen popularity overseas.  The k-pop groups that are popular in Japan are Twice, BlackPink, and the girl's generation. Their world tour tickets sell out in minutes and around ten thousand fans are seen in the stadiums. So, the Japanese fans are given more love by receiving Japanese releases of the albums by the Kpop girl groups. There are many Japanese idols in Kpop girl groups too and some have also lived in the United States.

1. Blackpink

The girls made a revolution by becoming the first girl group from Korea to perform at the Coachella music festival. They performed "Ddu-Du, Ddu-Du”, “Playing With Fire”, “Boombayah", "Forever Young", "Kill This Love", "Solo", "Kick It", "See you Later" and “As If It’s Your Last”. They are the artists of YG Entertainment but they also signed a deal with Interscope Records after the performance.

 

2. Wonder Girls

Their 1st wonder tour was the first concert tour started in Thailand, Shanghai, and Malaysia. The world tour was a promotional tour in North America in Canada and United States. All their shows were sold out and the response was positive in North America. The tour dates are in Chicago, Washington, Atlanta, Houston, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Diego, Vancouver, Toronto, Seattle, and San Francisco.

 

3. EXID

They performed in KCON 2018 New York with songs like ‘Talk’, ‘Lady’ and ‘Up and Down’. In KCON Mexico 2017 they performed ‘L.I.E.’. Their concerts and tours have been held in Germany, the United States, Los Angeles, and London. Their 'EXID Asia Tour 2017' was held in Hong Kong, Singapore and Taipei followed by the Japanese tour. They performed in Las Vegas, at The Cosmopolitan for a special Kpop concert ‘Kpop summer night’.

 

4. 4Minute

They performed in KCON USA with the songs 'Volume Up,' 'Mirror Mirror', 'Huh ', and 'Hot Issue' in 2012. Gayoon, the strongest vocalist was sick and absent from the stage which made them uncomfortable. They have announced tour dates for China, Myanmar, Malaysia, Thailand, and Latin America. The tour starts in Myanmar, then Mexico, Peru, and then Argentina.

 

5. Momoland 

They performed their song ‘Baam’ with an intro at the KCON Los Angeles 2018. In KCON Japan they performed BBoom BBoom with an intro in 2018. In 2019 KCON Japan, they performed their song ‘Lupin’. In 2019. They will make their Middle East debut at the Dubai Duty-Free Tennis Stadium, before their Vietnam, Philippines, United States, and South America tour dates.

 

6. Iz*One

This Korean-Japanese girl group held their first concert 'Eyes on Me' on the Asia tour in Saitama, Japan; Bangkok, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. They went to Tokyo Dome City to release their debut Japanese single. They also performed in KCON New York and Los Angeles in 2019. They performed in Staples Center, Los Angeles, California and their setlist had songs like 'Love Will Show You Everything',  ‘Violeta’, 'highlight', 'La Vie en Rose', and 'Airplane'.

 

7. T-Ara

They held their concert 'Dear My Family' In Shanghai as the first stop on the China tour in 2014. They also went to Vietnam for a mini-concert which made many more International fans in Vietnam and around the globe. A premium live concert in the Tokyo dome was followed by the performance of seven songs after a Tokyo fan meeting. Their Roly Poly concert was held in Bangkok, and the 1st showcase was held in Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Beijing, and Mongolia. Their tour was held in Osaka, Nagoya, and Hefei.

 

8. Girl’s Generation

Their world tour 'Girls and Peace' is the third concert tour. This world tour performed for two days in Japan and then arrived at seven cities in six countries. They performed in Jakarta, Indonesia; Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan. They are also the 'Nation's Girl Group' and they performed on October 23 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

 

9. Twice

This global sensation has broken a record as the 4th World tour sold out in Japan in minutes. They performed in Tokyo Dome and they will also be the first K-pop girl group to perform on a tour stage in Los Angeles Banc of California Stadium. They have also broken the record for the most attended North American tour by a Korean girl group. The new album has the setlist fixed for five cities in the United States including Los Angeles, New York, and Atlanta.

 

10. I.O.I

This girl group performed in KCON Los Angeles at Staples Center. KCON is the most popular concert setlist for K-pop fans worldwide. They gave a cosmic performance of their song 'Dream Girls' in Los Angeles and also in Paris, France with their song 'Pick Me. During The performance in Paris, Jeon Somi was age-restricted so she had to abandon the stage leaving only 10 members. It was because she was just fifteen which is allowed in South Korea.
