1. A Tale Of Two Sisters

If you are looking for a bone-chilling movie, then look no further. This movie revolves around the lives of two sisters named Soo-Mi and Su-Yeon. Their relationship with their father has become strained since the death of their mother. Both sisters try to navigate their lives with their father and their new stepmother. After they return home from the hospital, the two sisters notice strange things occurring in their home.

2. The Wailing 

We follow a police officer by the name of Jong-Goo; he is an officer in a quiet and peaceful town. Mysterious deaths start occurring in the village, and the villagers begin pointing fingers at a strange old Japanese man. Soon Jong’s daughter starts experiencing a mysterious illness. Jong left with no other choice but heads out to find and confront the Japanese man.

3. Whispering Corridors

Almost all schools have creepy rumors surrounding them; rarely are any of them true. This cannot be said about a particular school in South Korea. There is a rumor about a female student haunting this school. Soon after, a teacher commits suicide. The students are terrified as they try to figure out what is happening in their school.

4. Train To Busan

We follow Seok-Woo, an ordinary man in Seoul. Seok is separated from his wife and lives with his young daughter, Soo-An. He looks after Soo-An, but he is rarely affectionate towards her. For her birthday, Soo-An pleads with her father to take her to see their mother. Seok and Soo-An thus board a train at Seoul Station to Busan. Before the train takes off a mysterious zombie-like girl boards the train. She is carrying a harmful virus that starts spreading to the other passengers on the train. Seok must now fight for his life and protect his daughter.

5. I Saw The Devil

The movie starts with a woman named Joo-Yun whose car suddenly breaks down on a cold, snowy night. She tries to talk with her fiancé named So-Hyun who advises her to stay in her car till a tow truck arrives. While speaking with her fiancé, a strange older man arrives near Joo-Yun's car. He offers to help her however she refuses. After a few minutes, the man smashes Yun’s car window and proceeds to hurt her. After horrifically beating her, the man decapitates her. Her body is later found by the authorities. At her funeral, her fiancé promises to hunt down the killer and inflict pain on him, just as he had down to Yun.

6. Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum

The story begins in 1979 when forty-two patients committed suicide in Gonjiam Psychiatric Hospital. Following their deaths, the hospital’s director went missing. Decades later, strange stories and rumours continue to surround the hospital. The hospital has become an object of intrigue for ghost hunters and internet sleuths. We follow a YouTuber and six other people as they explore this abandoned hospital.

7. The Red Shoes

After a divorced mother named Sun-Jae finds a pair of bright red shoes in the subway, she becomes inexplicably drawn towards them. After she finds out that the shoes don't have an owner, Sun-Jae decides to take the shoes home with her. However, strange things start happening in Jae’s home after she takes the shoes.

8. Death Bell

Twenty-four students must fight for their lives to complete the university entrance exam. While giving the exam, the students are locked in a classroom and are broadcasted a horrific message. In the room a television broadcasts Hae-Yeong, the class’s top student as she is tied to a chair and placed inside an aquarium. They watch in terror as the aquarium starts to fill with water. The students are instructed that if they do not finish their exams on time, then Hae-Yeong and the other students in the room would be killed.

9. The Call

We follow the story of two women named Seo-Yeon and Young-Sook. The women live in two different periods. Seo-Yeon lives in the modern day, while Young-Sook lives in the past. The only way they can communicate with each other is through a particular phone.

10. The Wrath

In the house of Lee Gyeong-Jin, an official in the Joseon Kingdom, three deaths have taken place. Three sons have mysteriously died in their home. The woman who is pregnant with the child of the third son decides to take matters into her own hands. She starts investigating the deaths of the three sons to find out the truth. She soon learns that there is a demonic spirit that haunts the household.
