In-Depth Analysis

Zombieland Saga: Revenge stands true to its theme of ‘revenge.’ The building of revenge in the plotline is very natural and doesn’t feel forced. The story starts with the zombie girls having a failed concert, where they incur debt. Though, in the first season, the girls eventually got their audience. So, basically, the girls have to rise form the rock bottom, reconsidering career choices, which is a very relatable feeling, as everybody goes through these dilemmas in their life. The initial episodes were good, and however, as the story progressed, it took a highly complicated turn which seemed forced, for example, the unnecessary setbacks of the girls in every step, etc.

Star Performance

The character of Koutarou is played by Mamoru Miyano, Asami Tano plays the character of Saki Nikaido, Kotono Mitsuishi plays the character of Tae Yamada, Maki Kawase plays the character of Junko Konno, Kaede Hondo plays the character of Sakura Minamoto, Risa Taneda plays the character of Ai Mizuno, Minami Tanaka plays the character of Lily Hoshikawa, and Rika Kinugawa plays the character of Yuugiri. The supporting cast includes actors such as Yasuhiro Takato, Hiroyuki Yoshino, and many more.

Overall Opinion

The storyline of the second season is pretty repetitive if compared with the first season. Though, the second season, was enjoyable and entertaining for most of the part and mostly will not disappoint the fans of the series. Overall, if you haven’t watched the first season you will need to watch the first season to understand the story and origin of the characters. Zombieland Saga: Revenge is a recommended anime series only if you have watched season 1.
