Drama Digest

Megalo Box is an advanced form of advanced boxing where competitors wear metal frames called gears. When the first tournament occurred, ‘Gearless Joe’ became a champion and went down in history books as a legendary player. He was defeated later by a second champion who disappeared from the public eye. After seven years, Joe changed his name to Nomad and participated in underground fights to earn a living. He relies on painkillers to get by because of the hallucinations that haunt his mind. During one of his matches, Joe wins against an opponent called Chief but later realizes that his opponent lost some points on purpose for some cash offered to him by gamblers. After digging for information, Joe finds out that Chief belongs to an immigrant community called Casa. Gradually, Chief makes enough money to purchase land for Casa to live on illegally. Joe is skeptical of the community at first but decides to lend a helping hand.
