Anime Digest

The storyline tells us about Jolyne Kuujou, who gets framed for a crime she didn’t even commit, and she ends up in Green Dolphin Street Jail. She is brave like her father, Joutarou, and she finds the circumstances behind her misery. She got the power to unravel her body into a string from the gift she got from her father. She used that ability to free herself from prison.

The Feel Good Part

This season is faster than the previous seasons. We got good action scenes in almost every episode. The opening is pretty good. The show has one of the top background scores. The animation and art are suitable. This season’s CGI is better.

The Disappointing Factor

Some of the characters are not shown as well as in the previous seasons. Some of the things felt like they ended in the middle without any explanation, so it is confusing. The villain could be a little better. Some of the scenes in the chapters get boring because they don’t make sense. The ending feels a little rushed.

In-Depth Analysis

The theme is interesting. She was manipulated to get a higher sentence after getting arrested for something she never did. She decides to accept and move on from the fate she never deserved. The gift from her dad changes the pace of the drama. The scene where she realizes everything was a part of a big plan and that the mastermind behind this is someone from the same jail as him makes things interesting. She decides to find a way to make everything right. She started trying to get the answers and return to her everyday life. The villains are shown pretty well. There are little twists here and there. The art style is unique. The opening has a lot of details. The story touches on real-life issues, such as parental neglect, tragedy, and relationships. Creativity is evident throughout the anime. It is pretty interesting that each hero has a background score.

Star Power

There is a change in the characters and setting. Now we’ve got a female Jojo, and it’s exciting. She has a perfect good personality where she can be calm at one time and strong at the other. Not all the characters have personality growth, but it is interesting to see the female characters develop deep personalities. The character designs are impressive. The voice actors did their best in every scene.

Overall Opinion

It’s a good anime and a fantastic sequel to the previous seasons. The plot has a lot to learn from. It has a lot of values to acknowledge. The CGI is acceptable. Even though this season didn’t have the same quality as the previous one, it still had some exciting things plot points. The anime is pretty enjoyable for those who like intelligent protagonists.
