Anime Digest

One day, someone who calls himself a god hacked a school intercom and informed the students to team up and prepare to go to another world. They will be given specific powers to defeat the demon king. Seiichi Hiiragi is someone who gets constantly bullied by his classmates. So no one agreed to be on a team with him. He was left alone there, and when he was transferred to another place, he got an area with a forest. The location is far away not only from his classmates but also from human civilization. He discovers a fruit of evolution that may be a turning point.

The Feel Good Part

The show is funny. It is a light and simple series. The show can be watched with a simple mind. You do not need to take this seriously. The art is excellent and solid. The music complements the theme of the show. The story is not dramatic or anything. The piece shows real-life bullying. The characters are not taken seriously. It is a simple-themed anime, which is fun to watch.

The Disappointing Factor

The characters didn’t have any development throughout the show. The pacing is slow, and there are not many exciting elements. There is no main message or values to adapt to. The theme slightly suggests that being attractive is somewhat of a better option. He evolved to have a better poster. The characters seem to be missing out on personality. As the story goes by, it gets boring.

In-Depth Analysis

The show is about the story of Hajime, who didn’t get any companions during the transfer to another world because he didn’t have any friends. Everyone bullied him because of his looks. He made it there thanks to his mental fortitude and positive attitude. Then his life changed the way he always wanted. The theme is blunt and straightforward. The characters are portrayed pretty well, even though they don’t have any personality development. There are little twists here and there. The art style is good. The story talks about a lot of real-life bullying, but instead of making it a bad thing to do, they make it attractive. It tends to have the wrong message.

Star Power

The main characters of the anime are Kana Hanazawa as Saria, Hiro Shimono as Seiichi Hiiragi, Marina Inoue as Artoria Gremm, Tetsu Inada as Gassle Kroot, and Yuka Nishio as Eris McClain. The art style used to show the characters is good. The characters are not leading any personality development.

Overall Opinion

The anime is simple and enjoyable. But it seems to be missing quality. The animation and CGI could be better. The show has a humorous aspect. Even though the show gets a little boring, it is still a simple anime to watch without thinking seriously about the theme.
