Drama Digest
Shen-Jianxin, the main character, is a security guard at Rye-Scent Village. The protagonist aspires to be a hero but spends some parts of his life as a normal guy. But soon, circumstances change in his favour during one of his visits to the palace at Jainghu. He was once there to pay homage, and by chance, he learns about the ancestor’s secret guide. But he was unaware of the powers he had gained. Then he entered Jianghu, and he developed himself into a better person while undergoing hardship under the chaotic conditions that prevailed during the Tang dynasty. Being an unrecognized security guard with powers and skills in martial arts that are unrivalled, he experiences a lot of obstacles in his life. The story is about how he overcame all the obstacles and hurdles in his life.
The Feel Good Part
The story has a brilliant and unique concept. The characters were nice and good-looking. And the animation is clean, superior, and of high quality. The fight scenes are amazing.
The Disappointing Factor
The sound effects and songs are not really satisfying. The story lines could have been a bit improved.
In-Depth Analysis
The story paints the world of Jianghu as a bunch of exaggerations and rumours. It exposes the other side of social psychology and Chinese ethics. And it shows a genre of Chinese fiction about warriors in ancient China.
Overall Opinion
“Jian Wang 3: Xia Gan Yi Dan Shen Jianxin” is a pretty fun and interesting anime to watch. It is historically themed, filled with humorous elements, and has serious and interesting fight scenes, showcasing martial arts occasionally.
