Drama Digest

The story revolves around Towa, a half-demon girl, who gets teleported to modern-day Japan due to a forest fire. She was raised by a man named Souta Higurashi and was later reunited with her sister. This season is a sequel to its first season, following a different plot narrative with the same characters.

The Feel-Good Part

The quality of animation and the art style in this anime is excellent. The fight scenes are beautifully choreographed and executed, which makes it a thrilling experience for its viewers.

The Disappointing Factor

Compared to the previous season, the writing of the plot is poor. Even the character development is not that good, which makes it very disappointing. After the first season, the audience had a lot of expectations for the following seasons, but here the show failed to meet those expectations.

In-Depth Analysis

The significant drawbacks to this season include weak writing, animation, and sound effects. The mentioned factors are crucial elements in making a successful anime. Even though the first season looked promising, this season could not reach or surpass the bar set by its first season.

Star Power

Sesshomaru was outstanding as always. This character has always been a show stealer because of the way she is put in the scenes. It’s never too much or too little, perfectly balanced as it should be. Other supporting characters like Inuyasha and Kagome were also handled well this season, making it wholesome to watch.

Overall Opinion

This season did not turn out as well as its first season which is a significant drawback for the show. You should still watch it because it will be interesting to see your favorite characters reunite and continue their adventurous journey.
