Anime Digest

The story is about Haru Tamayo, who was uninterested in futal even though it had acquired great fame in the sports field. But one day, he saw Tokinari Tennoji play at the world championships. After the match, his whole perspective on the sport changed. He became interested in the sport. He joined the futal club the first thing after he was admitted to the high school. He met with a lot of talented people there. His team has the players who played with Tokinari Tennoji. His team has a lot of tricky situations, and their team has to outdo a lot of teams. As a beginner in the group, he began his futsal journey there.

The Feel Good Part

It was great to see an anime based on the sport of futsal. It’s fun to see the scenes where they show off some crazy moves and tricks. The plot gets interesting when the team members and their positions come to the discussion. It’s a goofy drama to watch for non-stressful entertainment.

The Disappointing Factor

The show felt like any other typical sports anime. Nothing new to the plot. Some of the moves and tricks seemed to be not connected to the original sports and were added for enjoyment. Since it is a sports anime, action is something everyone gets hyped on. But most of the time, it is lacking good animation. Some of the scenes deviated from the originality of the sport. The pacing has a difference in every part. The pacing is not bad in some scenes. But it is stretched and dragged in some of the sports scenes.

In-Depth Analysis

Sports anime is one of the best genres that gives us a lot of excitement. The thing is that the plot didn’t have anything new. We can easily predict the storyline. The art style is good. The show handles the backstory of the protagonist well. It felt realistic, and the way he handles the problems is fascinating.

Star Power

The main characters of the story are Ryota Takara as Haru Yamato, Shuto Ishimoei as Seiichiro Sakaki, Kohei Yoshiwara as Toi Tsukioka, Ryotaro Yamaguchi as Tsubaki Yukinaga, Kazuki Furuta as Ryu Nagumo, Yazuno Sakoi as Taiga Amakado, and Hiromu Mineta as Taiga Amakado. The protagonist is someone with solid determination. The voice acting is excellent. Even though the voice actors are new to this, they all did a good job. There isn’t much personality or values we could adopt from the characters. All of the characters had their styles and actions. The representation of character design is done well.

Overall Opinion

The anime is not bad. Even though the plot seems to be the same as some other sports anime, it is nice to see sports like futsal getting recognition. But it would have been better with a better storyline and character representation.
