Anime Digest

It is the story of the adventures of Diablo, who is a demon lord from another world. He was with Rem and Shera. They were all walking through the woods when they met a girl wearing torn clothes. They learned that she was being followed by a powerful man and his companions. Now it’s time for Diablo to come to her rescue.

 The The Feel-Good Part

The animation is decent. The music is good. The aesthetics are pleasing. Some of the scenes in the show refer to some real-life incidents. There is a difference in the animation than in the first season since Tezuka Productions took over the previous animation studio, Ajia-do.

 The Disappointing Factor

Some of the scenes are a little bad, and the art style is not very significant. It has some mature parts, which are not appreciated by many. The action scenes are not that interesting. There is nothing to get hyped about during the action scenes. The art style and character designs in some of the scenes feel rushed. There is nothing new or creative in the opening and ending. The ost felt a little deviated. It felt different from the theme of the storyline.

 In-Depth Analysis

We can’t compare the first season to this one. The first one is better in some aspects. In the first one, the plot ends with the lives of Diablo, Rem, and Shera getting interesting. The second season starts from the story where the first left off. But it still has some things to make this season enjoyable. When compared to the previous season, Diablo showed weakness in this one. He struggled to beat his enemies. Because of the thin plot, viewers may be disappointed. The characters also didn’t have any personality development or exciting traits. Still, it’s thrilling to watch him solve the problems.

 Star Power

The main characters of the show are Eric Vale as Diablo, Masaaki Mizunaka as Takuma, and Diablo Yu Serizawa as Shera L. Greenwood. Almost all the characters in the show are blunt and straightforward. There is nothing notable or exciting about the newly added characters. The protagonist showed a strong character with a few moral values. Even though it is not much interesting about the characters, it’s still fun to watch.

 Overall Opinion

It is a worthy sequel to Isekai Maou. The pacing is faster than in the first season. But it has a lot of ecchi scenes, which are not liked by many. The plot gets boring and stretched at some point. The fighting style is good. The story is mediocre. There is not so much that stands out or is interesting. Still, it’s a good anime for those not offended by fan service and some ecchi scenes.
