Its about love. Regardless whether it is between a human and a near-immortal youkai, true love never dies. Thankfully, fox spirit youkai have devised a method that allows a human to be reincarnated and, with the help of a Fox Spirit Matchmaker, retrieve memories of their previous lives, allowing them to rekindle their relationship with their favourite youkai.

The Feel-Good Part

The show takes its time introducing its characters and gets off to a slow start. It alternates between comedic and serious scenes.

In-Depth Analysis

Even when a human and a near-immortal youkai fall in love, true love never dies. Thankfully, the fox spirit youkai have devised a method that allows a human to be reincarnated and, with the help of a Fox Spirit Matchmaker, retrieve memories of their previous lives, allowing them to rekindle their relationship with their favourite youkai. Enter Bai Yuechu, a powerful human Taoist who wishes to be free of the dominating Yi Qi Dao League, and Tushan Susu, a little and innocent fox spirit who aspires to be a famous matchmaker despite her reputation as a giant screw-up. Yuechu is lured into assisting Susu bring together two separated lovers: prince Fan Yun Fei and his reincarnated sweetheart, Li Xueyang, after she literally falls through the roof and into his life. However, not everyone, even Xueyang, wants them to reconnect. Yuechu and Susu will learn who they truly are and who they used to be after being brought together by fate.

Star Power

Tushan Susu, a little and innocent fox spirit who dreams of being a renowned matchmaker despite her reputation as a giant screw-up, and Bai Yuechu, a powerful human Taoist who craves liberation from the dominating Yi Qi Dao League.

Overall Opinion

The anime is a little unclear at times, but the plot and the rest of the show make up for it.
