Anime Digest

The story starts with the presence of a massive abyss known as the Asylum in Antarctica. Within this pit are Scarred beasts and enigmatic people known as Exiles. The Asylum, on the other hand, contains rare earth elements that countries and corporations want. Private military contractors have set up shops around the Asylum because of the possibility of profits. Sleepers are agents who work for these contractors and specialize in missions within the harsh environment of the Asylum.

The Feel-Good Part

Maybe the animation is the only good part of this anime.

The Disappointing Factor

The plot is monotonous and has no unique aspect to it. It follows the cliche themes and subplots. The progression is dull and slow. It is a waste of time in the initial episodes since it does not show history or portray any character in the limelight. The direction is poor and lacks technical skills. The characters themselves are not much entertaining, yet nothing unique.

In-Depth Analysis

When the main protagonist is introduced to us as he enlists for the Assylum, he doesn’t seem to have any quality that makes him stand out. The other characters are just like him. They have bland tropes. Nothing sparks mystery and thrill as a sci-fi anime should bring to the table.

Star Power

The voice actors do just fine.

Overall Opinion
