TV Show Digest

The show is based on and inspired by Netflix’s Love Is Blind – America, where a group of men and women meet each other and fall in love eventually. The show is more likely an experiment to check if one can fall in love or bloom into romance without being able to see their partner in person. There were about 24 contestants, 13 male and 11 female, who appeared on the show. The show’s basis is that the people go on dates but in a structured room called ‘pods.’ Pods are connected rooms where people can chat, talk, and exchange things but are not allowed to see each other. The couples who hit off with each other can begin dating and immediately get engaged. By the end of the season, they are supposed to get married to each other, which astonishingly is supposed to happen all within a month. Around eight couples started dating and got engaged, and then it was finally the time to meet each other in person and live together until they called it quits or marry each other. The couples were taken to different gorgeous locations in Niigata, Okinawa, and Nasu. You can watch the show on Netflix for better details.

The Feel-Good Part

For a person who loves romantic dramas, the show is excellent. It involves a lot of emotions, drama, and romance. It was heartwarming to watch people get married to the love of their lives and create a great bond. The show also highlighted the important things one requires in a relationship and how one can work on them. The final episode was the wedding episode, where the successful couples tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in front of their close ones.

The Disappointing Factor

The show overall was great, but very heartbreaking to watch a few couples end their relationships as they were not ready to be married that quickly or couldn’t create a bond they expected themselves to form.

In-Depth Analysis

The show was quite interesting to watch and gave a passionate roller coaster ride to the viewers. It had a fair share of romantic and emotional scenes in it. The most exciting part was how all the contestants poured their hearts out in explaining their dream partners, and how a relationship should be for them. They talked about many things like the stigmas related to dyed or short hair, tattoos and piercings, how a woman should or should not work while having kids, how a career should be a greater priority, divorced people, body shaming, etc. Overall the show delivered many messages, which also helped the audience change their mindset and get even more attached to the show.

Star Power

Rytaro and Motomi were one of the couples that appeared on the show and got married successfully. Along with them, Wataru and Midori also had a successful ending and are now planning to make things official. They are immensely loved by audience all around the world.

Overall Opinion

The show is great and worth giving a try!
