Movie digest

Gamhee meets three of her friends in Seoul while her husband is out on a business trip. All of them make friendly conversation, but different current flows independently of each other above, and below the surface.

The feel-good Part

The film was too good to tell the story. It is a beautifully polished gem and there will be more such films. The Women Who Ran is a piece of conversation that is beautifully directed and acted. When a man makes an appearance, it is written in terrifically. That was part funny. But in the whole movie, it’s just women galling about their lives. The men in their lives and their past. The funny parts also expressed things.

The Disappointing Factor

The movie was not appropriately balanced. In the second section, the comic part vanished, and wasn’t coming back. The film dumped its best parts in the first section. The first part was exciting, but the second and third part was a bit disappointing.

In-depth Analysis

The Korean director Hong Sang-Soo is seductively low-key. Hong’s camera records undramatic distance at times zooming in for something closer midway through the conversation. Watching this movie was like recalibrating your expectations. The movie’s incredible meaning was hidden in plain sight. A found woman in Seoul who is a florist by profession, Gam Hee. She meets her friend Young-Soon is a gentle and scarcely shabby woman. The other one is Su-Young, a pilates instructor in the city. The third person is Woo-Jin; she comprehended to be a manager of Seoul’s Emu cinema and arts centre. The encounter between the three women in a cinema cafe was accidental. There they had a conversation, and they shared many things. The movie is good in terms of concept, execution, and writing.

Star Power

Kim Min-Hee played Gam Hee beautifully. Her performance was outstanding. All three ladies were fabulous .

Overall Opinion

The Women Who Ran is an astonishing film based on the next reunions of a woman with three of her friends. The movie is a nice watch. The story and alloy were intriguing.
