However, Hee-Min is not aware of his powers yet and is oblivious to the happenings at school. He ends up sneaking inside the school at night to return the lost diary of So-Yeong, who has experienced recent trauma. Will they be able to get through the night?

Watch the movie to find out more about it and other happenings.

The Feel-Good Part

The best part about the movie is its eerie and spooky theme and the gut-wrenching soundtrack, which plays throughout the film. The movie is like the original game of the same name, which adds to its uniqueness. Besides, the barrier of evil spirits breaks, which stimulates interest in mysterious events. In addition, the school is deluged in darkness, which reveals the presence of those evil spirits lurking in it, providing tension. The movie is a perfect blend of fantasy and horror and keeps one on the verge of their seat as to what will happen next.

The Disappointing Factor

The movie revolves around the happenings of the same night and moves at a fast pace. One may likely be quickly bored before the climax. The secondary plot and characters like Ji-min and Mu-Young could have been well-built.

In-Depth Analysis

The labyrinth is based on an original game of the same name. Hee-Min is enrolled at Yeondoo High School and fell in love at first sight with So-Yeong. Hee-Min slyly enters the school at night but notices the strange happenings at the school. Hee-Min finds So-Yeong’s diary and he decides to return it to her. The main character, Lee Hee-Min is set to be the heir of the exorcist, unlike the original game, which adds new elements to the originality of the plot. The great editing and visual effects make the appearance of ghosts much more haunting than reality.

Star Power

Kang Chan Hee, who plays Hee-Min, has a carefree personality, and his effortless acting skills and the overall performance of all the actors make the movie worthwhile. New evil spirits appear in the second half, and heart-pounding sounds make you feel a sense of fear that you cannot be vigilant for even a moment.

Overall Opinion

The movie is quite thrilling but moves at a slow pace with great visuals. Altogether, it is a good movie with a gripping plot.
